Janet Doolan is a proud Lower Southern Arrernte woman, born on Kaurna Country, with deep ancestral ties across the Simpson Desert. With over 18 years in the education sector, she has spent the past eight years supporting Aboriginal secondary school leavers in their transition to further education, training, and employment.

Janet currently serves as Project Support Officer for the South Australian Aboriginal Building & Civil Construction Academy, where she continues to advocate for Aboriginal inclusion in the workforce.

As a RISE Coach, Janet brings a culturally grounded and well-being-focused approach to mentoring. She is passionate about creating culturally safe spaces that empower Aboriginal participants to build confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of identity throughout their employment journey.
